Rep. Ayanna Pressley says Black Lives Matter is a Mandated Directive: ‘Pay Us What You Owe Us’

Rep. Ayanna Pressley (D-Mass.) said this week that BLM that was founded on a lie in the case of Michael Brown, is a directive to white people to pay Blacks what they owe them.

I assume that she is talking about reparations.

I will take responsibility for this. I will gladly pay every slave I ever owned the sum of one million dollars.

And if Blacks are deserving of reparations, should the United States pay Blacks or should they give the money directly to all of the Jewish people in the world?

After all, Blacks say they were the Egyptians who used Jews as slave labor to build the pyramids for centuries. It was dangerous work and is much more dangerous than picking cotton.

Make no mistake, slavery was evil. Nobody has the right to own another human being and it is something that should never have happened in this country. Well over three hundred thousand white soldiers were killed or died of disease to end slavery in this country, with many more grievously wounded.

Ayanna Pressley said:

“I rise today on behalf of every black family that has been robbed of a child,”

“On behalf of every family member that has been forced to see their loved one lynched on national television. Driving while black. Jogging while black. Sleeping while black.”

“We have been criminalized for the very way we show up in the world. Under the harsh gaze of far too many, my black body is seen as a threat, always considered armed. Centuries of institutionalized oppression will not be undone overnight, for racism in America is as structural as the marble pillars of this very institution.”

“With the power of the pen, we must legislate accountability, dismantle these systems, and move in the direction of justice and healing. The Justice in Policing Act is a critical step forward and I applaud the leadership of the Congressional Black Caucus. But our work is unfinished. There is a rallying cry in communities across the nation. Black Lives Matter is a mandate from the people. It’s time. Pay us what you owe us.”

“Our black skin is not a crime. It is the beautiful robe of nation builders. Thank you, I yield.”

  1. I know this is politically incorrect, and considered insensitive to many, but when it comes to reparations aka “damages” in a lawsuit, how would that be determined? Has anyone made the effort to take black American citizens that have slaves in their ancestry, and trace them back to Africa, then make a comparison between the family members that remained in Africa as opposed to the family of the slaves that now live in America today and compare their lives? What are the comparisons as far as financial, education, quality of life? Wouldn’t that be important to know? Those wanting “damages” from those that have never owned a slave should have to justify what damage was actually done to their lives today. David J Harris Jr. I would love for you to find someone to take on such a project , it would be akin to Roots! I think it would be very interesting to know.

  2. We need to know how much we “owe” ? Why does this generation deserve reparations compared to other generations ? Is the debt an open ended debt that is never ending ? What about the British, Dutch, Portuguese, Spanish, French who actually brought the bulk of the slaves here …. What about the the Arabs who sold mot of the slaves ?
400 years ? -1775-1866 does not equal 400 years of American involvement. The importation of slaves into the US was banned in 1807…….
Show us the bill for what you think we owe you for something we had no involvement with please ?

  3. Wondering if they are owed then how much dose the American Indian deserve after all whole generations were wiped out before they even had the chance to exist. Atrocities, such as forced sterilization of every female between the ages of 15-50 all the way into the 1960’s and 1970’s by the government. I’v yet to hear how the government was sterilizing the African American women.
Wondering how many American Indians have died by the hands of not just white men but all men that have fought against and destroyed the way of life for a whole nation of people….so they can take by force the land that was theirs first.

  4. The only One I owe is Jesus Christ! He paid in full for all sin! Isaiah 53:4-6 Yet it was our weaknesses he carried; it was our sorrows that weighed him down. And we thought his troubles were a punishment from God, a punishment for his own sins. He was beaten so we could be whole. He was whipped so we could be healed. All of us, like sheep, have strayed away. We have left God’s path to follow our own. Yet the LORD laid on him the sins of us all.

  5. Find all the living slave owners (not descendants), including the over 2000 free black men who were slave owners and have them pay reparations directly to the living people who were slaves (not descendants). Anyone else is not due one dime. Also remember that when the slaves were brought from their native country, there were already enslaved by there own race. I believe any reparation discussions should start with the point of origin. Last point many of the slaves were brought over before the United States became a country, therefore England should also be part of any reparation discussions. DO YOU SEE HOW RIDICULOUS THIS IS?

  6. When the emancipation proclamation was passed we bought Liberia in Africa for the freed slaves and offered transportation to Liberia to any black slave that wanted to return. That was the reparation that was owed to those slaves. They didn’t take it so we don’t owe them now.

  7. They get enough in benefits and the like , this is all about taking out the white man for future dominance and the destruction of the USA as a superpower make no bones about it BLM is a Marxist political group who’s ambitions with with liberal Marxists know no bounds..
stand and fight now or be a second class citizen

  8. Do I get any sort of credit or exemption from having to pay seeing as how my great grandfather fight on the side of the Union at Chancellorsville and Gettysburg to free the slaves? Using their logic, I am due the same credit for fighting for their freedom as they are for their ancestors having been enslaved.

  9. These ass wipes are only 13% of the population but want to be treated like the majority. White folks have set this country up as the one every shithole citizen wants to come to, but these fools want to change it all. Not on my watch.

  10. You guys are awful! They have every single right to seek reparations!! So with that said they can fight for payment against the Confederate States of America seeing as the United States fought to free them. When they get their money they can then payback the United States what it spent in order to wage that war
