Nancy Pelosi has been around for so long there are dinosaurs that have urinated on some of her lies. But her latest may be her greatest…that is, if you are into being told lies.
Pelosi was on ABC News’ “This Week with George Stephanopoulos,” and she said:
“What we did want, though, and what we think we accomplished in the past few weeks is that we wanted the public to see the need for witnesses, witnesses with firsthand knowledge of what happened. Documentation which the president has prevented from coming out to the Congress as we reviewed this.”
Witnesses with first-hand knowledge? Let’s look at who Democrats called as witnesses and whose transcripts were released by the Democrats.
The House Democrats had two committees work on the impeachment hoax. In the first one before Adam Schiff and the House Intelligence Committee.
Schiff called several witnesses who had first-hand knowledge, but only two of them testified that Trump might have done something wrong, and they both committed perjury to do it.
Gordon Sondland claims he told a Ukrainian official that the only way to get their aid released would be if they conducted investigations into the Bidens.
“I told Mr. Yermak that I believed that the resumption of U.S. aid would likely not occur until Ukraine took some kind of action on the public statement that we had been discussing for many weeks.”
And here’s what Yermak said:
“Gordon and I were never alone together. We bumped into each other in the hallway next to the escalator, as I was walking out. And I remember – everything is fine with my memory – we talked about how well the meeting went. That’s all we talked about.”
The second “first-hand witness,” fired former Ukranian ambassador Marie Yovanovitch, committed perjury twice during her testimony. The first lie was when she claimed that Ukrainian prosecutor Yuri Lutsenko never informed her of the money laundering plot used to pay off Hunter Biden and others.
Lutsenko provided Rudy Giuliani with a copy of the letter he sent her.
The second lie she told was when she denied not giving four Ukrainians visas so they could meet with law enforcement in the United States to discuss crimes committed by Burisma and the Bidens.
All four have given written statements to the contrary.
All of the other first-hand witnesses claimed none of this happened, and Schiff and the Democrats suppressed their testimony and would not allow them to be called in the public hearings.
With Jerry Nadler and the House Judiciary Committee, they called exactly no witnesses with first-hand knowledge of the events.
Instead, they had three liberal professors giving their slanted opinions.
Through it all, Pelosi claims that the House hearings were “fair.” OK.
If that was fair, in the Senate, they should adopt the same rules as the House Democrats did, with only Republicans being allowed to call witnesses.
That is fair, right?
