The FBI withheld exculpatory evidence during the impeachment of Donald Trump. They were in possession of the laptop with all of Hunter Biden’s emails and lurid pictures and videos but did not turn it over. This is an intentional suppression of evidence.
Now, a group of GOP House members has asked corrupt FBI Director Christopher Wray if he has the laptop and why did he not turn it over to the White House for their defense. But an even better question would be why did they not investigate Joe Biden for corruption? And since they didn’t investigate, why did they get a warrant to seize the laptop? It wasn’t a government computer.
The letter asked Wray:
“If the FBI was, in fact, in possession of this evidence and failed to alert the White House to its existence that would have given even more weight to the president’s legal defense, this was a gross error in judgment and a severe violation of trust.”
Fox News reported:
House Republicans are calling on the FBI to reveal whether it was in possession of a laptop that reportedly contained emails by Hunter Biden during the impeachment of President Trump — and claiming the agency committed a “gross error in judgement” if it did not inform the White House
“A large portion of the president’s legal defense case revolved around strong evidence that former Vice President Biden’s son Hunter was peddling his influence to his father to land lucrative jobs overseas that he might not have otherwise been qualified for,” the letter says.
The lawmakers ask whether the FBI was in possession of the laptop and drive as documented in the Post, whether it took steps to authenticate the drive and the data, and if anyone at the FBI briefed officials at the Department of Justice or White House after December.
“Why did the New York Post have the information about this laptop and hard drive before the American people?” it asks.
The New York Post supplied the October Surprise when they did a story about the abandoned laptop with Hunter Biden’s private emails and X rated videos that include him smoking crack. Twitter originally banned all mention of the laptop and its contents. They have received major backlash for that decision and have now backtracked on that policy.
Both Twitter and Facebook could be facing sanctions or even criminal charges for interfering with an election. They also face modification of the 230 rule that has allowed them to pretty much censor anything they want to without consequences.
