In October, Project Veritas produced a hot-mic video where Raquel Rodriguez, a consultant for GOP House candidate, Mauro Garza, explained the process of buying votes for candidates.
That woman was arrested today.
Almost her entire confession was captured in the video, and now Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton has brought charges against her that could lead to 20 years in prison.
It was a self-inflicted wound.
She was heard admitting that what she was doing was illegal and she could go to jail if she got caught.
In the video, she commented that she did not look cute in prison colors and told the undercover journalist if she ratted her out, she would hate that person “for life.”
BREAKING: TX “Republican" consultant & ‘Ballot Chaser’ ILLEGALLY pressures voter to change vote to Dem candidate with GIFT!
“If I go to prison, I do not look cute in stripes…I will hate you forever.”

Texas takes voter fraud very seriously, not just in rooting it out but in the prosecution thereof. Paxton has made it a crucial crusade of his which probably why Texas did not turn blue also.
They have zero-tolerance.
It is kind of odd why someone would hire a Republican consultant to gather illegal votes for a Democrat.
A San Antonio campaign worker seen in an undercover video last year appearing to persuade a woman to change her vote faces a long list of felony charges after being arrested Wednesday, according to the Texas Attorney General’s Office.
Raquel Rodriguez faces charges of election fraud, illegal voting, unlawfully assisting people voting by mail, and unlawfully possessing an official ballot, according to a press release from AG Ken Paxton’s office.
“Many continue to claim that there’s no such thing as election fraud. We’ve always known that such a claim is false and misleading, and today we have additional hard evidence. This is a victory for election integrity and a strong signal that anyone who attempts to defraud the people of Texas, deprive them of their vote, or undermine the integrity of elections will be brought to justice,” Paxton said in the release.
Rodriguez will be arraigned and bail set. That will allow her to remain free until after the trial. It is not known if she has a lawyer and how she plans to plead, but by virtue, it’s on video, I don’t see that she has much choice.
