When I saw this video, I felt the nudge to go the extra mile and do an article with David’s message as the focal point. He had a “light bulb” moment that he shares with us. In the attached video he speaks to a phenomenon about which we, especially Bible-believing Christians, should all be alerted. Listen here:
I agree with him one hundred percent! We are in a real war here, but it is NOT against the flesh and blood of our fellow Americans. The Bible verse that applies to this is Ephesians 6:12: For we are not fighting against flesh-and-blood enemies, but against evil rulers and authorities of the unseen world, against mighty powers in this dark world, and against evil spirits in the heavenly places.
This is a spiritual battle against the enemy of our souls. Ephesians Chapter 2 starts with “1Once you were dead because of your disobedience and your many sins. 2You used to live in sin, just like the rest of the world, obeying the devil—the commander of the powers in the unseen world.a He is the spirit at work in the hearts of those who refuse to obey God. 3All of us used to live that way, following the passionate desires and inclinations of our sinful nature. By our very nature we were subject to God’s anger, just like everyone else.” This is a very clear description of the things we see going on in the USA, and in particular, the voices shouting their accusations against any and everything to do with moral decency. Many people who sit in front of the TV cameras, and whose voices blare night and day in derision against the Biblical standard, are swallowed up by the spirit of accusation.
Revelation 12:10 says “Then I heard a loud voice shouting across the heavens, “It has come at last–salvation and power and the Kingdom of our God, and the authority of his Christ. For the accuser of our brothers and sisters has been thrown down to earth–the one who accuses them before our God day and night.”
Doesn’t that describe what we see going on? We’re harangued day and night by the “talking heads” of the mainstream media with accusations of “intolerance” and “lack of civility” while practicing the total opposite in their actions. I’ve never seen such blatant hostility towards morality and decency.
In particular, I’ve never seen such hostility towards a presidential administration. Those of us who are Bible-believing Christians must get back to what the scriptures tell us in the book of 1 Timothy, chapter 2: 1I urge you, first of all, to pray for all people. Ask God to help them; intercede on their behalf, and give thanks for them. 2Pray this way for kings and all who are in authority so that we can live peaceful and quiet lives marked by godliness and dignity. 3This is good and pleases God our Savior, 4who wants everyone to be saved and to understand the truth. PRAY for righteousness to prevail. PRAY for our leaders, from the president to your local assembly. Our lives and the life of our country depend on it. God answered our prayers in 2016 when Donald Trump was, against all the odds and predictions, elected as our president. We need to get serious about waging the war in the Spirit and pull down the strongholds.
