Trump To Nation: 'How Much More American Blood Must We Shed Before Congress Does Its Job?'

President Donald Trump on Tuesday called on Congress to pass border security funding and stop American blood from being shed.
The president talked about Democrat obstruction over the topic of securing our border and reopening the government.  He mentioned that there are numerous wealthy politicians who build walls around their own homes to protect the people inside.
“The only thing that is immoral is the politicians to do nothing and continue to allow more innocent people to be so horribly victimized,” said Trump.
The president said “America’s heart broke” when they heard of a young California police officer was “savagely murdered in cold blood by an illegal alien” the day after Christmas. “The life of an American hero stolen by someone who had no right to be in our country.”
Trump reminded us of when a U.S. Air Force veteran was “raped, murdered, and beaten to death with a hammer by an illegal alien with a long criminal history.”
He also mentioned that Georgia recently saw an illegal alien charged for the murder, beheading, and dismembering of a neighbor.
“In Maryland, MS-13 gang members who arrived in the United States as unaccompanied minors were arrested and charged last year after viciously stabbing and beating a 16-year-old girl,” said the president.

These are not the only cases of violence against American citizens that the president pointed out for emphasis on his mission to secure our border.  Between 2017 and 2018 ICE has arrested 100,000 illegal aliens for assault, 30,000 for sex crimes, and over 4,000 homicides.  This is a crisis like no other, because not only is violence coming over the border, but drugs and trafficking and sex trafficking of minors is also rampant.
From Breitbart:

President Trump recalled the dozens of families he has spent time with over the past several years, their loved ones killed at the hand of illegal aliens. “I’ve held the hands of the weeping mothers and embraced the grief-stricken fathers,” said Trump. “I will never forget the pain in their eyes, the tremble in their voices, or the sadness gripping their souls.”
“How much more American blood must we shed before Congress does its job?” the president asked. He called on those refusing to compromise over the issue of border security to consider this, “imagine if it was your child, your husband, or your wife, whose life was so cruelly shattered and totally broken?”
“To every Member of Congress: pass a bill that ends this crisis,” he charged. “To every citizen: call Congress and tell them to finally – after all of these decades – secure our border.”
“This is a choice between right and wrong.Justice and Injustice. This is about whether we fulfill our sacred duty to the American citizens we serve,” said the president. He recalled taking the oath of office and swearing to “protect our country and its people” as he resolved, “And that is what I will always do, so help me God.”

During their response to the presidential address Democrat leaders Nancy Pelosi and Chuck Schumer looked like wooden mannequins who placed more emphasis on reopening the government than anything to do with securing our border.  It seemed as if they were both using the occasion to increase blame on the president for the government shutdown than responding to the president’s address for border security.  Chuck Schumer is now famous for his time spent on Twitter trying to blame Trump for the government shutdown, mainly because the world saw the last shutdown attempt as squarely his fault.
It seemed like the two mannequins gave a response to the speech they had hoped Trump would give, full of fire with remnants of charging up a hill, but the speech was a compassionate one where Trump appealed to America’s understanding of right and wrong and the fundamental principle of fairness.  Schumer used his carefully polled line of Trump having a temper tantrum while Pelosi said the president’s speech was full of malice.  Sorry, but the average American is not as stupid as these Democrats think they are.  They saw neither a temper tantrum nor malice of any kind.  The Democrat performance goes to show how much Pelosi and Schumer practiced their responses to a speech that never happened.
Schumer demanded that the president end the shutdown and then they could work out an agreeable solution, and everyone knows the Senator from NY is full of bullschtein.  For Democrats, an “agreeable solution” means you cave and they get what they want and forget about everything you want.  But they’re dealing with Donald Trump now, and not a regular Republican president.
What does it say about a party where their leaders care more about tricking a president into giving in to their demands than being serious about securing our southern border?  By now you’ve seen the plethora of videos of Schumer and Pelosi supporting the need for real border security.  Just last February they both voted for border security, so what has changed since then?  What changed is the midterm elections are over, and they now realize that if they can block Trump from getting his #1 campaign promised fulfilled it will hurt him in 2020.  It’s a hell of a thing to gamble on American lives all in the name of politics.
In the end, the president is siding with the victims of illegal alien violence, drugs pouring over the border, and the savagery of human trafficking, while the Democrats are not, plain and simple.
My book is here! And I personally handed a copy to our President at the White House!!! I hope you enjoy it @realDonaldTrump!
