Just a week after news broke about CNN settling a massive lawsuit over its fake news coverage of Covington Catholic High School student Nick Sandmann, WarnerMedia announced Wednesday that CNN’s Reliable Sources host Brian Stelter is making a documentary about the rise of fake news that will debut in March on HBO.
Reliable Sources is known as one of the most unreliable sources for news on television. That very statement caused Stelter to block me on Twitter.
And it’s ironic, because, after the Mueller testimony, when the former special counsel confirmed that they did not find a single piece of evidence that the Trump campaign colluded with the Russians during the 2016 election, I made it a point to respond to daily tweets by Stelter with “You lied every day for two years to your audience about Russian collusion. Why should anyone believe anything you say?”
That went on for months, the same messaging in differing variations, and he never blinked an eye. However, by responding to a Stelter tweet pushing this week’s episode of Reliable Sources, he blocked me in seconds. And I wear that as a badge of honor.
Brian Stelter should be a subject of the movie, rather than a mouthpiece for it. He is the epitome of the Fake News media.
After Truth: Disinformation and the Cost of Fake News will examine the phenomenon of “fake news” in the age of social media and the impact that the trend has on average citizens, according to a release from WarnerMedia, the parent company of both CNN and HBO.
To have Brian Stelter serve as an executive producer of the documentary is all you need to know that it will be more like a crockumentary, as Stelter is quite possibly the biggest purveyor of Fake News in the industry. Stelter is as much a news anchor as I am Mary, Queen of Scots.
The CNN host said in a tweet Wednesday that he has been working on the project for “a couple of years.”
HBO just announced something I've been working on for a couple of years: A documentary titled "AFTER TRUTH: DISINFORMATION AND THE COST OF FAKE NEWS." The film will premiere on TV and online this March. Directed by @a_rossi!

One can only guess how much Fake News Stelter has broadcast during those couple of years.
The Trump-hating leftist CNN has been one of the worst among the elite media’s Fake News offenders. The network came under fire during the 2016 presidential election when it was revealed that the CNN contributor Donna Brazile, who later became the DNC chairwoman, gave the debate questions to Hillary Clinton before the debate began.
Since President Donald Trump took office, CNN has made a slew of gross journalistic missteps that have required retractions or major corrections. One of its biggest embarrassments was a 2017 report about a Russian investment fund that allegedly had ties to certain Trump officials.
CNN retracted the story after significant flaws in the reporting came to light, resulting in the resignation of three journalists.
The following year, CNN erroneously reported that Donald Trump Jr. had coordinated with WikiLeaks on the publication of emails from the Democratic party and Hillary Clinton campaign. The story quickly went viral before it was revealed that CNN mixed up the dates, showing that WikiLeaks and Trump, Jr. communicated after the emails were published.
The network was also caught deceptively editing video to make it look like President Trump had rudely dumped a box of fish food into the water during a photo op with Japanese prime minister Shinzo Abe. It was later revealed that President Trump was simply copying Abe’s behavior.
CNN recently caved and settled a $275 million lawsuit brought by Covington Catholic High School student Nick Sandmann, who accused the network of defaming him in its coverage of a confrontation started by a Native American activist during a pro-life rally.
The lawsuit alleged the network put its anti-Trump bias ahead of journalistic standards in portraying Sandmann as the aggressor. Anyone who watched the video saw that none of the students initiated the incident, yet CNN and other news networks, Hollywood elites, and leftist social media influencers trashed Sandmann, who received death threats and saw his future crash and burn — and all because of the Trump Derangement Syndrome suffered by leftists at CNN.
Meanwhile, CNN hosts and contributors constantly praise violent left-wing groups like ANTIFA, whose sole purpose is to physically attack conservatives, especially Trump supporters, at what were peaceful gatherings until they show up. Even in the ugliness of the Charlottesville KKK protest of the taking down of a confederate statue, the protest was peaceful until ANTIFA showed up.
Just last year, Stelter downplayed the ANTIFA’s brutal beating of journalist Andy Ngo.
Brian Stelter is not a journalist. He is a leftist activist who claims to be a journalist. There’s no way he could be as wrong as he always is accidentally. He has never apologized to his audience for lying to them daily for years about the phony Russian collusion story that he enthusiastically pushed.
If the makers of the documentary were serious and wanted to make an impact, Brian Stelter was the absolute worst media personality to collaborate with, because the documentary will now be viewed as Fake News, mark my words.
