As the nation gets ready to endure a calamitous hurricane heading towards the east coast of the United States, the Washington Post is already blaming hurricane Florence on President Donald Trump.
The Washington Post Editorial Board wrote a blistering article Tuesday, claiming the Commander-in-Chief was “complicit” in Hurricane Florence’s potential damage because of his political stance on climate change.
“YET AGAIN, a massive hurricane feeding off unusually warm ocean water has the potential to stall over heavily populated areas, menacing millions of people,” writes the Post.
“When it comes to extreme weather, Mr. Trump is complicit. He plays down humans’ role in increasing the risks, and he continues to dismantle efforts to address those risks. It is hard to attribute any single weather event to climate change. But there is no reasonable doubt that humans are priming the Earth’s systems to produce disasters,” adds the article.
Statements like this are usually categorized as a psychological cry for help. A major newspaper is blaming President Donald Trump for a hurricane, as if the Oval Office has a weather panel with a button that allows the president to create a hurricane and decide where it should land.
The media wants to constantly talk about the president’s mental stability. Any time he does something they ideologically disagree with they call for the use of the 25th Amendment where his cabinet can declare he is mentally unfit to serve. Is there a 25th Amendment solution for the Washington Post Editorial Board?
Even if Climate Change were not a hoax based solely on computer models and the whims of socialists trying to find more ways to tax their citizens, to blame Donald Trump for a hurricane is just plain nuts. There, I said it.
To paraphrase an old conservative friend, the establishment media has in it the biggest concentration of alarmists, cranks and extremists this side of the giggle house. Please share this.
