Actor Robert De Niro lost his mind at the Tony Awards when he launched into an F-Bomb-laced tirade at President Trump, earning a standing ovation.
“I’m gonna say one thing: F— Trump!” he said with clenched fists in the air. “It’s no longer down with Trump, it’s f— Trump!”
U.S. viewers at home heard crickets as producers cut the audio feed during the delay period, while in other places like Australia the f-bombs were not censored. The cursing triggered a thunderous reaction from the audience, with many celebrities getting to their feet, showing once again that Hollywood leftists are completely out of touch with at least half the country.
Here’s video of the bitter, angry De Niro.

From Fox News:
The veteran actor went on to introduce Bruce Springsteen’s performance. “Bruce, you can rock the house like nobody else,” said De Niro. “Even more important in these perilous times, you rock the vote. Always fighting for, in your own words, truth, transparency, integrity in government. Boy, do we need that now.”
Backstage, playwright Tony Kushner praised De Niro for his tirade on stage, saying he agrees with the sentiment expressed by the actor. “Good for him. I mean, it’s Robert De Niro. Who’s gonna argue with him?” he said.
Kushner went on to denounce the Trump’s presidency as “the Hitler mistake” that put a “borderline psychotic narcissist in the White House.”
Obviously not a fan of President Trump, De Niro has also appeared multiple times on “Saturday Night Live” in the role of Special Counsel Robert Mueller.
In March, De Niro trashed Trump at the Fulfillment Fund fundraiser, according to the Hollywood Reporter. “A college education is important, but education without humanity is ignorance. Look at our president. He made it through the University of Pennsylvania, so he was exposed to a quality education, but he’s still an idiot. And he lacks any sense of humanity or compassion.”
De Niro bashed Trump in April during the opening night of the 2018 Tribeca Film Festival. “America’s being run by a madman who wouldn’t recognize the truth if it came inside a bucket of his beloved Colonel Sanders Fried Chicken,” he said.
To make statements like that you would expect someone of De Niro’s prominence in pop culture to back it up with real details, yet he never says anything outside of the traditional cookie cutter vitriol of the Left, saying things like Trump is a racist, Trump has no compassion, Trump is responsible for the bubonic plague, margarine, and humidity.
I am personally hurt by all of this. I was a huge fan of De Niro’s work. After watching him these past two years go off on the president with such anger and over-the-top hatred I will never support anything the man is involved in ever again. He has lost his mind. De Niro now behaves in the manner in which he and his ilk accuses Donald Trump, yet we have never seen Trump behave this badly in public.
De Niro is a man who has become unglued. To go on stage at major awards ceremonies and trash the president the way he’s been doing shows signs of an aging man who wants to feel relevant in his own leftist bubble world. A recent Rasmussen poll shows Trump’s approval rating at 49 percent. At the same time in his presidency Barack Obama was at 46 percent. This means De Niro is playing it up to only the left-wing Hollywood types, who are seemingly just as out of touch with the country, leading one to believe that he’s going so over-the-top with his rhetoric just to feed his own ego.
