Yeah. And all that eating I did didn’t make me fat. During today’s hearing, Strzok claimed that him having to testify was a victory for Russia. Why? Did Russia write all those I Love Hillary and I Hate Trump texts? Because if they did, then Strzok should talk to Mueller, and he can indict the Russians for identity theft. And were the Russians secretly banging Miss Lisa? I don’t think so. And what part of “We’re going to stop Trump” did I misunderstand? And the insurance policy? Was that Boris and Natasha?
Strzok helped lead the investigations into Russia’s interference in the 2016 presidential election and into Hillary Clinton’s use of a private email server while she was secretary of state. However, he was removed from the Russia probe by Special Counsel Robert Mueller last summer when Justice Department Inspector General Michael Horowitz discovered texts between Strzok and former FBI attorney Lisa Page disparaging then-candidate Donald Trump in 2016.
Republicans used Thursday’s hearing to underscore their charges of bias by the FBI and Department of Justice against Trump and in favor of Clinton. Strzok denied that he was part of any conspiracy to go after Trump, and Democrats backed him.
Democrats also charged that Republicans were using the hearing to try to undermine Mueller’s investigation of possible collusion between the Kremlin and the Trump campaign in the 2016 election. Republicans want Mueller’s campaign to end before the November midterm elections, while Democrats say that Mueller should not be pressured to end his probe prematurely.
Here’s Strzok reciting his lines with disgust on his face that America would even consider that he would do anything unlawful…
During the hearing it was announced that Lisa Page will testify on Friday.
