Senator Cory “Spartacus” Booker (D-NJ) turned heads across the country on social media Monday, when he posted an anti-Trump poem that accused the President of “escaping accountability” and “re-writing history.”
To escape accountability.
This is a Trump Shutdown,” the potential 2020 candidate tweeted.
To escape accountability.
This is a Trump Shutdown

I can’t think of words stronger than despicable, but that’s what Booker and his ilk in Congress are when they refuse to help the president protect American citizens over illegal aliens, and then work to make it seem like Trump is being the unreasonable one. Sanctuary cities and states aren’t enough. Now Democrats are fighting border security at our expense. It’s as wrong as wrong can be.
Democrats are the party of rewriting history. They have rewritten their entire history as a political party, whitewashing all the evil that came from it since its founding days. If you don’t know that, you’re not paying attention.
Here’s a lecture on the history of the Democratic Party’s racism and fascist roots that they have written out of existence.
The majority of Democrats who are now vocal against stopping illegal immigration have a history of being on the right side. Something collectively changed in the Democratic Party, which means leadership pushed it. Democrats were always weak on border security, even when they claimed otherwise. You just had to watch what they did after listening to what they said. But now it’s different. They aren’t hiding their penchant for open borders anymore. Between raising holy hell about children in cages when they said nothing when Obama and Bush did the same thing, to openly calling for the abolishment of the Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agency, Democrats are now the party of open borders, making citizenship worthless.
The senator from New Jersey knows a thing or two about escaping responsibility. This is the same man who knowingly violated Senate rules during the Brett Kavanaugh confirmation hearings, knowing he would escape accountability because no one would go after a drama queen who plays the race card at the drop of a hat.
The backlash on social media was immediate, with users asking if Booker was attempting to create a “Haiku” or other forms of poetry.
… said pseudo-Spartacus.

I’m impressed that you’ve managed to express in tweet form the ridiculous way that you talk. It carries the exact same pointless melodrama. Truly, well done sir!
