Secretary of State, Mike Pompeo released a press statement about the possibility of historic peace in Afghanistan that is sure to infuriate Democrats because it is just one more historic achievement in the list of places where his actions have caused people to end war.
“It’s past time to bring our troops home from Iraq and Afghanistan. President Trump is winding down the forever wars he inherited from D.C.’s political classes,” Rep. Thomas Massie (r-KY) said.
“The United States welcomes the announcement that Afghanistan peace negotiations will begin on September 12th,” Pompeo said.
The United States welcomes the announcement that Afghanistan peace negotiations will begin September 12. This is an historic moment and Afghanistan’s best chance at ending forty years of war and bloodshed.

According to his press release:
The start of these talks marks a historic opportunity for Afghanistan to bring an end to four decades of war and bloodshed. The people of Afghanistan have carried the burden of war for too long. They yearn for peace. Only through an Afghan-owned, Afghan-led political process — one that respects the views of all Afghan communities, including women and ethnic and religious minorities — can the parties achieve a durable peace.
This opportunity must not be squandered. Immense sacrifice and investment by the United States, our partners, and the people of Afghanistan have made this moment of hope possible. I urge the negotiators to demonstrate the pragmatism, restraint, and flexibility this process will require to succeed. The people of Afghanistan and the international community will be watching closely. The United States is prepared to support as requested.
The United States recalls the commitment by the Afghan government and the Taliban that terrorists can never again use Afghan soil to threaten the United States or its allies. Now is the time for peace for Afghanistan.

The news of Ruger, a foreign policy expert being appointed was not embraced by the Never Trump/ Democrat/ Media alliance, who are not happy about the military troops coming home and ending the war.
At the same time, Trump is making these bold moves for world peace that the Democrats are breathless to try to discredit Trump with gossip from numerous books about unconfirmed sources in the Atlantic Magazine.
While the Trump administration is ending wars, Jihadis and Democrats are attacking.

The Taliban has appointed a Conservative Cleric to negotiate on their behalf.
I have profiled Abdul Hakim Ishaqzai, the Taliban’s new chief negotiator for peace talks.
A senior, hard-line cleric, Ishaqzai led the Taliban’s judiciary from #Pakistan.
Now, he’s tasked with negotiating end to Taliban’s insurgency in #Afghanistan. https://t.co/CUczH1MN8x

Yes. Time to unmask. The only ones who wear a mask are the true law abiding citizens. This law was a bit overkill. Flu season is now coming. No mask for that. Be difficult to tell the difference between the two
