Project Veritas video sparks a Federal investigation into potential voter fraud in the highly contested state of Michigan, after a video goes viral exposing a United States Post Office whistleblower talking about alleged fraud in time stamping, and Americans grow in outrage over the idea that their vote did not count.
It appears the cavalry has finally arrived. The PostalTimes.com posted Thursday :
The Washington Examiner confirmed the USPS’s Office of Inspector General is investigating the video. “We have learned of this matter and are looking into it,” USPS’s Office of the Inspector General’s spokesperson Agapi Doulaveris told the Washington Examiner. “No additional information available at this time.”
USPS spokeswoman Martha Johnson also told the Washington Examiner the Postal Service was aware of the video and was “referred to the U.S. Postal Inspection Service.”
The video released by Project Veritas claims to show a USPS whistle-blower from the Traverse City Post Office in Michigan, specifically from Barlow Branch. The individual said he was instructed by a direct supervisor Jonathan Clarke to separate late ballots found in mail-boxes and “hand stamp them with the previous day’s date.” He added there was a “hamper where letter carriers were supposed to leave their ballots” and put into “express bags to go to the distribution center.” Project Veritas said they reached out to Clarke about the matter, but he declined to comment.
James O’ Keefe is the founder of Project Veritas, and the following is one of the numerous videos he has released exposing potential fraud:
One would think the Attorney General of the state would be concerned, but the AG of Michigan is on Twitter writing about her concerns over Sharpies:
According to Michigan’s 9&10 News, federal investigators arrived in the state on Thursday.
Herman Cain.com reported on the matter and said, “Sent by the United States Postal Service to a Traverse City post office, the inspectors will be looking into alleged voter fraud exposed by a Project Veritas video. The bombshell video shows Project Veritas’ James O’Keefe talking with a USPS whistleblower in Michigan who claims to have witnessed organized voter fraud.”
Local News Reporter in Traverse City, Bill Froehlich, reported and said the following:
“Concerns of accused fraud have the U.S. Postal Service sending inspectors to a Post Office branch in Traverse City.
The office of the inspector general had federal investigators at the branch on Barlow Street Thursday.
It comes after a group called Project Veritas posted a video which claims to identify a postal supervisor allegedly instructing employees to take mail-in ballots received on Wednesday and backdate them with a postmark for Tuesday.
It’s important to note that under Michigan law, it would be irrelevant to the results even if turns out to be true because ballots had to be in the hands of clerks by Tuesday night at 8 p.m.”
Interestingly President Donald J. Trump had spent the night before the election campaigning at a huge gathering in Traverse City.
Reports of other types of alleged fraud and alleged intimidation tactics to prevent voters from placing their vote in person had been surfacing all week about Michigan, including the story of Robo calls and video of windows being covered up:
And in Detroit there were reports of suspicious activity to prevent poll observers from watching the ballot counting.
The Michigan Attorney General posted on her Twitter timeline about her concerns, which did not include voter fraud:
And she admits she is representing ONE party, and not the people of the state:
