A few days ago we shared the article DJT JR: IF WE DON’T FIGHT BACK AGAINST CENSORSHIP NOW, ‘WE’LL NEVER GET THE CHANCE AGAIN.’ Donald Trump Jr., while speaking with Tucker Carlson, made comments regarding the censorship that has become so prevalent in social media and search engines, and that conservatives must get off the dime and fight them now before we get completely muzzled by them.
It brought to mind a story that is literally thousands of years old. Since a picture is worth a thousand words, allow me to illustrate:
First, I need to fill in a couple of blanks. Let’s start with the main storyline attached to this photo.
It’s the account of the shepherd boy David killing Goliath, which is found in 1 Samuel 17 of the book I fondly call the Basic Instructions Before Leaving Earth. In part, the story reads as follows:
The end of this chapter reads:
There is an important detail inside this story that sparks a question. Why did David pick up FIVE smooth stones? 1 Chronicles 20 gives us some insight. In a nutshell, Goliath had brothers, and David was prepared to take down as many of them as necessary to ensure the Israelite victory.
The first point of relating this story is this: We have Donald J. Trump on point in the White House leading the charge to Make America Great Again. Many have likened him to the Old Testament account of Cyrus that we read about in the book of Ezra, and in particular, the verse in Isaiah chapter 45. Is it coincidental that Trump happens to be the 45th president? Nope, I think it’s just another display of God’s sense of humor!
The second point to this story is actually to raise a question. Who will be the David to take down the Philistine pagan giants of Google, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube, and other related services such as PayPal? All of those have openly defied the First Amendment of the Constitution, and are getting more brazen in limiting conservatives’ free speech and reach – and in denying us service based on political ideology alone. I predict it will be a “little guy” in the figurative sense that relatively few have heard of the man (or perhaps woman), and he/she will do the same as David of this story did over Goliath – all the glory will go to The Lord God Almighty.
My book is here! And I personally handed a copy to our President at the White House!!! I hope you enjoy it
