President Trump put out some good news yesterday. Once again he took his message straight to the people via his Twitter account to get us up to date on the progress being made on the wall construction at our southern border.
This from ILMF:
President Donald Trump is not playing around.
On Wednesday, the president took to Twitter and posted a video of the border wall being built.
This comes just days after Trump signed a border security package that included $1.375 billion for a border wall. After signing the bill, Trump also declared a national emergency, which should free up another $8 billion for the wall.
We have just built this powerful Wall in New Mexico. Completed on January 30, 2019 – 47 days ahead of schedule! Many miles more now under construction! #FinishTheWall
Along with the text from the tweet, Trump shared a video of the wall being built.

New Mexico isn’t the only location where new border barriers are being built. San Diego is currently building barriers along the border as well. Check out what Fox News Denver reported.
Construction has begun on the fifth border wall project of Donald Trump’s presidency, replacing up to 14 miles of barrier in San Diego, authorities said Tuesday.
The first panels are in place to replace a steel-mesh fence with 30-foot-high steel bollards, according to U.S. Customs and Border Protection.
SLSCO Ltd. of Galveston, Texas, was awarded a $101 million contract in December, with options for an additional $30 million.
The bollards replace a second layer of barrier that worked like a fortress when it was built about a decade ago but is now often breached with powerful battery-operated saws sold in home improvement stores.
Work on replacing a first layer of San Diego barrier is nearly complete, also 14 miles long and made of steel bollards up to 30-feet high.
Pretty impressive to see what Trump has been able to do considering how Democrats have been relentlessly fighting against him with border security.
The White House has also stated that they will be using money from the Defense Department’s drug interdiction program and Treasury Department’s asset forfeiture fund.
Trump will be able to use these funds without waiting on a ruling like he will have to do regarding the national emergency.
Instead, the White House plans to focus on building new portions of border wall using funds from the Defense Department’s drug interdiction program and Treasury Department’s asset forfeiture fund, which do not rely on the national emergency declaration. Those two sources of funding alone amount to $3.1 billion.
This will allow the White House to begin construction on new border barriers without risking an injunction tied to the national emergency declaration. And at the same time, the White House will be able to put its plans in motion to access the national emergency funds at a later date.
This is great news because the construction of the border wall will be able to continue into the future while the funds from the national emergency are processing.
When President Trump makes a promise, he keeps it.
No matter how hard the Left tries to obstruct his plans, the President always seems to follow through with what he said he was going to do in the first place.

It’s just as we thought. President Trump is playing chess while the Left is busy trying to play checkers. The Democrats have been trying to block the emergency declaration, and he’s moving ahead with his plans with money already available. I think he has done a masterful job of getting them to look another direction while he goes ahead with the construction, and has just shown us that he’s once again quite capable of navigating around the traps being thrown in front of him.
My book is here! And I personally handed a copy to our President at the White House!!! I hope you enjoy it
